2021

 I really enjoyed this year in particular! I had heapppsss of fun with all of my classmates. What I enjoyed the most is playing sports with each other. Besides covid I really enjoyed this years class and teacher. If I had to pick my favorite moment it would've been when they went for a walk past my house.

Online Kahoot Champ!

Room 6 played Kahoot as part of our online learning. Today Brooke was on top of the podium. Congratulations for being the Champ!

 

Nana's Holiday Baking!

This holiday my grandma created a very delicious carrot cake for our family dinner. My grandma says that it is a carrot "pudding" lol, and that is because it kind of failed but it was still yummy! Here is a picture of what it looked like!

Nutrition

We are learning about nutrition. We had a special person called Isabella to come in our class and teach us! She taught us what food had had protein or fibre in it! Then we had a little game which is where we had to sort out the foods into which labels and put them in groups! The groups were meats, fruit and vegies, and oats.

Koko Alaisa How to

 

Koko Alaisa          Equipment:

Ingredients:            Ulo (Pot)

Koko (coco)           Cup (ipu)      

Alaisa (rice)             Spoon (sipuni) 

Vai (water)               Love

Suka (Sugar)

Method: Put the Alaisa in the vai . Then put your Koko (use half of the koko) in the ulo and let that boil. Then put sugar into a bowl (brown or white) and mix. Finally let that boil again for 10 minutes, Serve and enjoy!!

Our maritime museum waka

Here is my waka,I made this form wooden bits kindly given to my class from the maritime museum. A couple weeks ago my class and room 5 went for a trip to the maritime museum. At the end of our experience we got a box of little pieces for a waka. We brought the waka home to our classroom to re-make them another day because the pieces were all mixed up in the box. When Thursday finally arrived we started to assemble them. By Monday most of the boats were done.
