Matariki
When the Matariki stars appear it is the beginning of the Maori new year
We celebrate Matariki like we celebrate Anniversaries,Christmas
Like sisters the stars shine bright like, the blazing sun, a night light
Matariki is a time for joy like spending time with family/friends
It is a time to learn like your at school
It is a time to plant crops like, carrots, pumpkins, potatoes
It is a time to fish and hunt
It is a time to make things like kites with friends
It is a time to for give
Matatriki is a time where you can have a new approach to life
